Softball Welcomes Chipola and Chattanooga State to Rocky Top

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee softball will continue fall play this weekend, as the Lady Vols welcome Chipola College and Chattanooga State to Lee Stadium for games on Saturday and Sunday.
UT will play a single game on Saturday against Chipola at 1:30 p.m. Chipola is a junior college located in Marianna, Fla., and a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The school is a two-time national champion (2007, 2015) and five-time state champion (2007, 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016).
On Sunday, the Lady Vols will play a doubleheader starting with Chipola at 1 p.m. before facing Chattanooga State at 3:30 p.m. Chattanooga State is located in Dayton, Tenn., and it is also a member of the NJCAA.
All fall ball games are free and open to the public. The Big Orange invites all fans to come out and show their support.
