SEC Soccer Quarterfinals: Vols vs. Vandy

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Tennessee begins soccer postseason Tuesday, facing Vanderbilt in the SEC Soccer Tournament quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m. ET (7:30 p.m. CT) at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Â
The Vols (14-3-1) enter the tournament as the fifth seed in a rematch against fourth-seeded Vanderbilt (11-6-1), which won the regular-season meeting 2-1 in Nashville, Tennessee.Â
Tennessee posted a 6-3-1 record in SEC play, the most conference wins in a year since going 9-3-1 in a longer schedule in 2012. The Vols are coming off a 3-2 comeback victory over Arkansas with junior Khadija Shaw providing her team-leading 14th goal to go ahead in the 81st minute. Vanderbilt defeated Auburn 2-1 in the season finale.Â
