KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Today on our countdown we get to know more about Anna McClung, who is preparing for her final season on Rocky Top.
Need to Know
McClung enters her senior year as one of the Vols most experience players with 65 appearances and 26 starts to her name since joining the collegiate ranks. The Gate City, Va., native began her career at Florida State in 2013, where she appeared in 25 games and scored a pair of goals. McClung decided to transfer for Tennessee following her freshman year with the Seminoles and has been a consistent presence for the Big Orange over the past two seasons. She has played in 40 games and tallied eight goals and six assists during her time in Orange and White, including a team-leading five goals and 13 points in 2015.
After playing forward during the first three years of her college career, McClung will make the switch to center back this season for the Vols. She chose to transfer to Tennessee over fellow SEC foes Ole Miss, Alabama and Kentucky. Check out Anna’s entire bio HERE.

If not soccer, what sport? I like the idea of being a beach volleyball player. Not sure how good I would be, but I think it would have been cool.
