KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- We continue our countdown to the 2016 season opener by getting to know Emily Morrow, who is one of the Vols’ senior leaders on the back line.
Need to Know
Morrow enters her senior season on Rocky Top as one of Tennessee’s most experienced players. Her 43 games played and 33 games started both rank second among active players, trailing only Hannah Wilkinson. The Texas native started all 18 games in the back four for the Vols last season, helping the team rank second in the SEC in goals allowed (18), goals against average (0.93) and shutouts (nine). Morrow was also a threat offensively in 2015, as she finished the year tied for third on the team with three assists. Morrow chose UT over Arkansas, Oklahoma State and MTSU.
