Roster Schedule StatsNeed to Know
Both of the Volunteers’ games last week went to overtime as they fell to Vanderbilt, 3-2, before rebounding for a 2-1 victory over Indiana State to finish off non-conference play. Hannah Wilkinson racked up the awards and honors this week after recording seven points in UT’s two games last week. The Vols’ star forward was named the NSCAA Women’s College Player of the Week, the Tennessee Sportswriters Association Women’s Soccer Player of the Week and was also an honorable mention for the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week. Wilkinson scored both goals in Sunday’s win over the Sycamores, including the golden goal in overtime for her ninth-career game winner. Sophomore goalkeeper Shae Yanez had her 237-minute shutout streak snapped in Friday’s double overtime loss to the Commodores.
Wilkinson Rewriting the Record Books
UT’s active scoring leader continued her climb towards the top of two record lists. The New Zealand native moved into a tie for third on the program’s career goals list after scoring three times last week. She also moved into fifth on the Vols’ all-time scoring chart with 71 career points after a seven-point week. Wilkinson leads the team and is tied for fifth in the SEC with 18 points this season and needs just four more points to break her previous single-season career high of 21 set back in 2014. She has posted at least one point in eight of the team’s last 10 games and leads UT with five multi-point performances this season.
O’Keefe Piling Up the Points
Vols’ midfielder Rylie O’Keefe continued her breakout sophomore season with two more assists last week. O’Keefe leads the SEC and is tied for sixth in the nation with eight assists this season. The Littleton, Colo., native ranks second on the team with four goals and 16 points and has at least one point in seven of the past 10 games. Three of her four goals this year have been game winners.
Success on Set Pieces
Tennessee has been deadly on set pieces this season, scoring nine of its 21 goals off of them this season. The Vols have five goals off corner kicks and four more have resulted from free kicks. Four of the team’s last six goals have resulted directly from set pieces.

LSU is tied for 11th in the league with a 1-4 conference record and a 6-7 mark overall. The Tigers have lost three straight games entering Thursday night’s contest while being outscored 9-1 in those losses. Junior forward Jorian Baucom has been a major bright spot for LSU, leading the team and ranking second in the SEC with nine goals, which accounts for more than 50 percent of the Tigers’ total goals this season. Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Brockmeier has played every minute behind the pipes for LSU. She boasts a 1.46 GAA and is tied for the SEC lead with five shutouts.
UT’s All-Time Record vs. LSU: 12-4-3
