August 18, 2015 | Soccer
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee soccer team will have 13 regular-season contests with a live video broadcast this season.
Earlier this summer, it was announced that UT would have four televised SEC matches with the SEC Network carrying the Vols' home games against Auburn (Sept. 20) and Kentucky (Oct. 25) and their Sept. 27 road game at Vanderbilt. The Vols' Oct. 18 game at Missouri is on ESPNU.
Tennessee will have nine additional contests live streamed online. SEC Network + (also known as WatchESPN) will feature UT's games against Lipscomb (Aug. 21), Georgia Southern (Aug. 23), Murray State (Sept. 6), Arkansas (Sept. 11), Belmont (Sept. 13), Mississippi State (Sept. 25), Florida (Oct. 9) and Ole Miss (Oct. 23). The Big Orange's Aug. 30 road match against Virginia Tech will have an ESPN3 online broadcast.
Additionally, SEC Network and ESPNU will air the entire SEC Soccer Tournament from Nov. 2-8.
UT alum Tori Beeler Watson returns for the third-straight season as the primary analyst for each of the Vols' home SEC Network + broadcasts. Brian Rice will be the play-by-play announcer for UT's games against Lipscomb, Georgia Southern and Murray State. Roger Hoover will be the play-by-play announcer when the Vols host Belmont, Florida and Ole Miss. Maddy Glab will report from the sidelines for each home SEC Network + broadcast.
The Tennessee marketing department has announced its 2015 soccer promotions. There will be an expanded menu at Regal Soccer Stadium with the addition of a concession trailer that will serve hamburgers, chicken tenders and French fries. Sales at the concession trailer will be cash only.
All UT regular-season home games will feature free admission and a free Kid's Carnival with face painting, poster making, chalk art, inflatables and more. Select Vols will sign autographs after each home contest.
Starting with Sunday's game against Georgia Southern, each Sunday contest will feature free Soccer Sundaes. The first 100 kids 12 and under can create their own ice cream sundaes.
There are still openings for youth teams and youth soccer players to participate in gameday festivities as honorary captains, halftime scrimmage participants or ball kids. For more information, e-mail the corresponding contacts below.
