NCAA Sunday Practice Day For Lady Vol Hoops

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee practiced Sunday afternoon before second-round play in the 2015 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The #6/5 Lady Vols (28-5), who are the No. 2 seed in the Spokane Regional, will face No. 10 seed Pitt (20-11) in an NCAA Second Round contest on Monday at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN2. The winner of that tilt will move on to the Sweet 16 in Spokane, Wash, March 28 & 30.
Tennessee is 26-0 all-time in the second round, including 21-0 at home. The Lady Vols defeated St. John's, 67-51, to win in last year's second round in Knoxville.
UT and Pitt are meeting for the fifth time, with the Big Orange holding a 4-0 advantage in the series. Tennessee defeated the Panthers, 68-54, the last time these programs met in 2007 in the NCAA Second Round in Pittsburgh.
Sunday's schedule included a news conference with media covering games in Knoxville and practice. Head coach Holly Warlick, along with seniors Cierra Burdick and Ariel Massengale represented the Lady Vols in the press conference while the rest of the team participated in locker room interviews.
