NO. 14 TENNESSEE
- Tennessee is ranked No. 14 in the latest USA Today/NFCA poll and No. 19 in the latest ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.
- UT (19-6, 1-2 SEC) is coming off of a 2-0 loss to Western Kentucky on Tuesday. WKU ace Miranda Kramer, who entered this week as the nation's strikeout leader (12.9 Ks per seven innings), fanned 14.
- Tennessee is averaging 7.7 runs per game and limiting opponents to 2.1 runs.
- The Lady Vols are hitting .333 as a team with nine players hitting .303 or better. Gretchen Aucoin is hitting a team-best .452. Shaliyah Geathers (.382) and Rainey Gaffin (.362) round out Tennessee's top three hitters. Taylor Koenig leads the team with 10 homers and 32 RBIs. Annie Aldrete, Meghan Gregg and Megan Geer have five homers apiece.
