E. Renfroe Honored At Chancellor's Banquet

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee senior pitcher Ellen Renfroe was one of several UT student-athletes recognized at The Chancellor's Honors Banquet on Wednesday. The Jackson, Tenn., native received three awards.

Renfroe was received a 2014 Extraordinary Academic Achievement Award, which is for undergraduates who exhibit extraordinary scholarship. She was just one of two student-athletes tabbed for the 2014 Extraordinary Community Service Award for exhibiting the Volunteer spirit in the community. Renfroe also received a 2014 Scholar Athlete Award, which is given to students who excel exceptionally in both scholarship and athletics.
