CONCORD, N.H. -- Former Tennessee Lady Vol All-American Jessica Shepley captured her first LPGA FUTURES Tour title on Sunday, winning The International at Concord presented by Northeast Delta Dental by one stroke.
She birdied the final hole and carded a final round 66 en route to a 13-under 203 three-day total to edge Lauren Doughtie (12-under 204) at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course.
The Oakville, Ontario native earned $14,000 for the victory.
Another former Lady Vol, Nicole Smith, tied for 22nd at the event with a 2-under 214 score.
Shepley and Smith rank 20th and 21st, respectively, on the LPGA FUTURES Tour Money List. The top 10 money winners at the end of the season nab 2012 LPGA Tour cards.
Shepley is currently the Lady Vol golf volunteer assistant coach. She earned All-SEC and honorable mention All-America accolades during her career at Rocky Top from 2001-05.
Smith graduated from UT in 2009 and earned honorable mention All-America honors in 2007.
