MISS KNOXVILLE TO THROW OUT FIRST PITCH OF LADY VOL SOFTBALL APRIL 15th DOUBLEHEADER

The No. 6 Tennessee Lady Vol softball team returns to Southeastern Conference action this weekend after taking two games from Austin Peay State University earlier in the week, as the Ole Miss Rebels travel to Tyson Park for a three-game set over April 15-16. Miss Knoxville Michelle McNatt will throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the 1 p.m. doubleheader.
Michelle was crowned Miss Knoxville in February of 2006 and will represent the city of Knoxville at the Miss Tennessee Pageant, a preliminary for Miss America, this summer. Michelle is a 21 year-old graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Communication Studies and is currently enrolled in graduate school at UT. Michelle is an accomplished athlete herself, as she came in 2nd place in her age group at the Knoxville Marathon, completing 26.2 miles in just over 4 hours.
Saturday's doubleheader is also "Youth Appreciation Day", all youth ages 18 and under will be admitted free for Saturday's games only.
Normal admission prices are $5 for adults and $3 for youth ages 18 and under.
