SABATINO NAMED SEC CROSS COUNTRY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Zach Sabatino was named SEC Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week Tuesday by the conference office.

Sabatino led Tennessee to a third consecutive team victory Saturday after finishing third in a field of 307 at the 8K Greater Louisville Classic.

The senior from Charleston, W.Va., ran fast enough to better the previous meet record and course record. The Vols bested a field of 35 teams at the Greater Louisville Classic.

Sabatino has led the Vols in both meets in which he has competed this year, including an individual title at the Tennessee Invitational in his season opener Sept. 16.
