LADY VOL-VIRGINIA TECH GAME POSTPONED

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The contest between the University of Tennessee softball team and Virginia Tech, originally scheduled for Wednesday evening at 6, has been postponed due to poor field conditions.

The two were slated to meet as part of the State-Line Classic in Bristol, Tenn. It will be determined at a later time if the game can be made up.

The Lady Vols will next play a three-game Southeastern Conference set at Florida. The Big Orange and Gators begin the series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday. A single contest on Sunday, also beginning at 1 p.m., concludes the series.
