Suarez, a junior from Miami, ranks sixth in the conference with a .366 batting average, fourth with a .460 on-base percentage and third with 14 hit by pitches. He has 13 multi-hit games with eight doubles, 16 runs scored and 16 RBI since the span started April 3.
SEBaseball.com selected Ole Miss sophomore pitcher/first baseman Stephen Head as the 2004 SEBaseball.com SEC Player of the Year.
