LADY VOL TENNIS PLAYS ON AT THE SEC FALL CLASSIC

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- The University of Tennessee Lady Vol tennis team continued play at the SEC Fall Classic on Saturday. Freshman Daron Moore (North Hollywood, Calif. / Campbell H.S.) fell in her singles match to Isabel Rosenbrock of Auburn, 6-4, 6-3, while freshman Bryce Marable (Darien, Ill. / Hinsdale South H.S.) lost to Taka Bertrand of Vanderbilt, 6-2, 6-3.
In doubles play, Marable and junior Melissa Schaub (Lexington, Ohio / Lexington H.S.) were defeated by Lauren Seaman and Staten Spencer of LSU, 8-3, before earning a default victory over Melissa Cornett and Whitney Morton of Arkansas.
Moore teamed up with Julie Martin of Vanderbilt to form a doubles tandem, falling to Carlin Cochran and Nika Kouhartchouk of Ole Miss, 8-3, and Nancy Peaden and Tori Almagno of Auburn, 8-5.
The three will wrap up play in the concluding tournament of the fall season on Sunday.
