"I am very pleased with our win and with my team's performance. These girls gave me two solid halves, and though there we some things we could have done better, I am satisfied with our performance. Kentucky gave us a battle and certainly didn't make it easy for us, but we battled right back and I am glad that we came out on top."
On star players Kayla Lockaby and Genna Gorman...
"Both of these girls gave a stellar performance. Kayla got us fired up with her first goal. In my opinion she is one of the best players in the conference. Genna, who is with out a doubt our freshman of the year, had a goal and two assists. She was definitely a key in our victory. Both of these girls are very deserving of credit."

"I was just praying that it would go in. I wasn't in very good position because I was coming from midfield, but I ran as hard as I could to try to get in the right spot. I got there and it went in for me."

"I just came out and wanted to work really hard for the team because that was our game plan for tonight. That's what I did; I just gave it all I had and I am so glad that we came out on top."

"I think that game really sums up our season. We played a great Tennessee team and we cannot take anything away from them. We had our chances and just did not finish. We knew that we would have to take advantage of our chances because they would not give us many. We tried to sustain the attack but it was just not there. This loss is a tough one to swallow."
