LADY VOL TENNIS PLAYERS SPLIT MATCHES AT SEC FALL CLASSIC

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - Two Lady Vols opened singles action at the SEC Fall Classic on Thursday afternoon as Bryce Marable (Darien, Ill. / Hinsdale South H.S.) topped Jelena Jovic of Auburn, 6-2, 6-2. Her teammate Daron Moore (North Hollywood, Calif. / Campbell H.S.) dropped her singles match to Lauren Seaman of LSU, 7-6 (7-4), 6-0.
Doubles play begins Friday morning as Marable and Melissa Schaub (Lexington, Ohio / Lexington H.S.) face Melissa Day and Mari Muller of Alabama and Daron teams up with Julie Martin of Vanderbilt to play Emily Foster and Caroline Winebrenner of Kentucky. Singles action will continue in the afternoon. The tournament lasts through Sunday.
