LOREE MOORE SELECTED AS LADY VOL ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
After helping the Lady Vol basketball team improve to a perfect 7-0 with victories over DePaul and #13/15 Oklahoma, junior Loree Moore was chosen as the Lady Vol Athlete of the Week in a vote taken by the media relations staff on Tuesday.
During the two games, the Lakewood, Calif., native averaged 11.5 ppg, 9.0 rpg and 4 apg. Also was extremely accurate with her shooting touch, she connected on 54 percent of her attempts from the field and 43 percent of her 3-point tries. Her best game came against the Blue Demons when she earned her first-career double-double with an 11-point, 10-rebound effort.
The Lady Vols will be in action again when they host No. 5 Texas on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Thompson-Boling Arena.
