Knoxville, Tenn. -- The Tennessee baseball team plays host to the nationally ranked Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs in non-conference action at Lindsey Nelson Stadium Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
The Bulldogs, winners in eight straight, are 32-2 and ranked No. 4 in the latest NAIA poll, while the Volunteers (18-13) look to snap a two-game losing streak in preparation for this weekend's series against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Junior catcher Javi Herrera also puts his career-high 10-game hitting streak on the line. Tennessee's leading hitter with a .352 average, has hit in 25 of the last 29 games while also pacing the team with a .466 on-base percentage.
The heavy-hitting Bulldogs bring a .382 team batting average into the game led by first baseman Jason Howard's .504 average. He has also slugged seven home runs with a team-high 47. Third baseman Braden Conner has nine home runs and 45 RBI to go along with a .440 average, while second baseman Carlos Ramirez leads the club with 25 doubles and 26 steals.
