Bell Named SEC Male Athlete of the Week

Eric Bell, a Farragut native, was named the Southeastern Conference Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week Wednesday.

Bell earned the distinction by posting a second-place, 15:19 finish in a 67-runner field at the 5K Tennessee Intercollegiate meet held in Nashville Saturday, Sept. 2.

Bell's season-opening effort led the Vols to the top of the nine-team field with 26 points.
