In July of 2025, Hart was named Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer for Tennessee Athletics. In this role, he will lead the department's revenue generation strategies and work to enhance its financial sustainability. Hart will oversee several critical functions, including the Tennessee Fund, capital projects, and UT's data analytics.
Prior to his role as Chief Revenue Officer, Hart managed the Tennessee Fund and its strategic pursuit of Championship Resources for investment in all Tennessee student-athletes and coaches.
For the third consecutive year, the Tennessee Fund achieved record-breaking fundraising during the 2024 fiscal year (FY24), contributing significantly to the University of Tennessee Foundation's historic campus fundraising total of $332 million. The Tennessee Fund alone accounted for $139.7 million in FY24, marking the best year of athletics fundraising in school history.
He came to Knoxville after having spent nearly two years overseeing major gifts fundraising at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to that, he spent two separate stints working alongside White at both UCF and Buffalo.
“Brady is a natural leader and gifted fundraiser,” White said. “As a former student-athlete himself, he understands teamwork, has a real passion for supporting student-athletes and recognizes the importance of being resourced at an elite level.”
In Hart's first full fiscal year on Rocky Top (FY22), the Tennessee Fund team set department records for fundraising total ($80,759,936), cash receipts ($68,568,453) and total donors (18,859). Additionally, Tennessee Athletics’ new philanthropic giving society—The Shareholders Society—which was established under his leadership, grew by more than 180 percent in 2021-22.
The Tennessee Fund team followed up their record breaking 2022 fiscal year with more great fundraising progress in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 (FY23). New records were again established in fundraising total ($89,338,717), cash receipts ($72,821,769) and total donors (28,387). Including new premium seating initiatives, the Tennessee Fund accounted for more than $131,450,717 in revenue generated during FY23; the same fiscal year also represented another huge growth year for the Shareholders Society. Tennessee’s philanthropic giving society grew from 346 members to more than 500 members, marking an incredible 46-percent growth, year-over-year.
At UCF, Hart helped to elevate the Knights’ premium seating program and engaged multiple corporate partners through hospitality and entertainment initiatives.
Before he transitioned to UCF, Hart was instrumental in generating significant revenue increases at Buffalo. From fiscal years 2014 through 2016, the Bulls experienced annual cash growth of 19 percent, 69 percent and 32 percent, respectively.
Hart served as a development assistant at Long Beach State in 2010. Following his stint at the Beach, he attended Ohio University, serving as a graduate assistant in the Ohio Bobcat Club. At Ohio, he concentrated on football premium-seat allocation and donor parking while also assisting senior development staff with annual fund solicitations and operations.
Hart is a native of State College, Pa., and a 2009 Yale graduate. He was a starting linebacker at Yale and was a member of the Bulldogs’ 2006 Ivy League championship team. He went on to earn master’s degrees from both Ohio (MBA/MSA) and Buffalo (M.Ed.).
He and his wife, Amy, live in West Knoxville with their son, TJ.
