In 2000-01, he was the only Vol to go undefeated in SEC and NCAA Tournament play, accumulating a 7-0 mark as the Volunteers advanced to the NCAA National Final before falling to Georgia, 4-1, in Athens in the first-ever meeting between SEC teams for a men[apos]s tennis national title. His senior season, Toledo earned All-American honors and was ranked 10th in the nation, as he helped lead Tennessee to an NCAA National Semifinal berth. He earned a bachelor[apos]s degree in political science in 2003.
At Tennessee, Toledo assists at practices and travels with the team on a part-time basis. He has also been working at the Knoxville Racquet Club for five seasons as a head tennis professional. Duties there include organizing adult clinics, planning tournaments and supervising the junior development program, as well as teaching adults and juniors in private and group settings.
