Graduate assistant coach Caitlin Lowe joined the Tennessee staff in August 2017. She serves as an assistant coach, working primarily with the novice team.
Lowe graduated from the University of Miami in 2016 with a degree in exercise psychology. Lowe was a four year member of Hurricanes Rowing, winning gold in the Open 2-, finishing second in the Women’s Championship 4+ and earning a third place in the Women’s Championship 8+ race at the 2015 Head of the Hooch. Additionally, she sat stroke seat in the 1V8+ that won the Cal Cup in the 2016 San Diego Crew Classic. Lowe was named a CRCA Scholar Athlete all four years and made the All-ACC Academic Team from 2013-2015.
Following graduation Lowe coached the novice girls and masters classes at the White Rock Rowing Club in Dallas, Texas during the 2016-17 season.Â
Originally from Alexandra, New Zealand, Lowe is pursuing a master’s degree in recreation and sport management.
