- Opened season with a vault of 5.05m (16-6.75) at the Alabama Relays
- Tied his 2013 personal best (5.40m) and finished 2nd in Section B at the Texas Relays

- Cleared the bar in a PR of 17-0 3/4 to finish fourth at the Auburn Invitational
- Opened the campaign with a then-best of 16-5 1/2 to take third at the Kentucky Invitational
- Also came in third at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge, clearing 16-1 3/4 as UT swept the first three places
- Flew over 16-7 at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, but that was good enough for only 13th in the championship section

Indoors - Twice registered career bests during the indoor season
- Cleared 16-1 3/4 at the Hokie Invitational to place eighth
- Reached height of 16-1 3/4 at the Texas A&M Challenge, winding up in fourth place
- Finished fourth in the college division at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, sailing over 16-0 3/4
- Best mark outdoors came at the Sea Ray Relays, where he posted a mark of 16-0 3/4 to place third in the open division
- Was 11th at the Penn Relays, clearing 15-3 in the college division
- Mark of 15-3 earned him fourth at the UCF Invitational
HIGH SCHOOL
- Cleared his career-best height and a Georgia all-classes state record of 16-7 1/4 in the pole vault at the 2010 Georgia Olympics AA division, where he was victorious
- Became only the seventh prep athlete to clear 16 feet in the Peach State
