- Tied for 17th at the NCAA East Prelims on May 26 with a 5.15 meter vault
- Vaulted a season best 5.21 meters and finished in fourth place at the SEC Outdoor Championships on May 14
- Finished fourth at the Penn Relays on April 30 with a vault of 5.05 meters
- Tallied his second win of the season on April 16 at the Seminole Invitational, where he vaulted 5.07 meters
- Opened the season with a win at the Shamrock Invitational on March 19, clearing 5.06 meters

- Did Not Compete
- Earned second team All-America honors with an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, vaulting 17 feet, 4.5 inches (5.30)
- Qualified for his first NCAA Championships since 2013 by clearing 17 feet, 2.75 inches (5.25) to finish sixth at the NCAA East Preliminary Round
- Opened season with a vault of 5.05m (16-6.75) at the Alabama Relays
- Tied his 2013 personal best (5.40m) and finished 2nd in Section B at the Texas Relays
- Finished eighth in the pole vault invitational at the Tennessee Relays, clearing 17 feet, three inches (5.26)

- SEC scorer in pole vault clearing 5.13m to place 6th at SEC Indoors
- Indoor best at Aggie Invitational with height of 5.28m, earning second in the event
- Finished no lower than 8th in at every meet during season

Indoors
- Competed at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Qualifier, finishing seventh with a height of 17-0.25
- Finished just outside the scoring eight at the league meet, placing ninth with a height of 16-7.5
- Vaulted 16-6.75 and finished third at the Samford Invitational just behind teammates Jake Blankenship and Chase Brannon
- Matched his career-best height of 17-0.75 at the Armory Invitational, where he tied for sixth place in the Championship division
- Represented the Vols at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge, finishing with a final height of 16-8.25 to place fifth
- Competed unattached at the Virginia Tech Invitational, finishing fourth with a height of 16-9.50
- Tied for seventh in pole vault at NCAA Championships with mark of 5.40
- Attained mark of 5.25, tying for first, at NCAA East Qualifiers
- Established new career best of 5.31 at Texas Relays
- Vaulted 5.40/17-8.5 at the NCAA Championships, setting a career best and tying for seventh national
- Grabbed a second place finish in pole vault at the War Eagle Invitational (5.30/17-4.50)
2012 TRACK & FIELD
Indoors - Charted personal bests in his first two meets
- Cleared the bar in a PR of 17-0 3/4 to finish fourth at the Auburn Invitational
- Opened the campaign with a then-best of 16-5 1/2 to take third at the Kentucky Invitational
- Also came in third at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge, clearing 16-1 3/4 as UT swept the first three places
- Flew over 16-7 at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, but that was good enough for only 13th in the championship section
- Handled 16-6 at the Akron Invitational to place eighth in the Gold Division

2011 TRACK & FIELD
Indoors - Twice registered career bests during the indoor season
- Cleared 16-1 3/4 at the Hokie Invitational to place eighth
- Reached height of 16-1 3/4 at the Texas A&M Challenge, winding up in fourth place
- Finished fourth in the college division at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, sailing over 16-0 3/4
- Best mark outdoors came at the Sea Ray Relays, where he posted a mark of 16-0 3/4 to place third in the open division
- Was 11th at the Penn Relays, clearing 15-3 in the college division
- Mark of 15-3 earned him fourth at the UCF Invitational
HIGH SCHOOL
- Cleared his career-best height and a Georgia all-classes state record of 16-7 1/4 in the pole vault at the 2010 Georgia Olympics AA division, where he was victorious
- Became only the seventh prep athlete to clear 16 feet in the Peach State
- Also won at that event, which is the state championship meet, in 2008 (A) and 2009 (AA)
- Three-time region champ in the pole vault
- Placed 14th at 2010 New Balance Outdoor Nationals with a clearance of 15-6 1/4
