- Notched three individual wins and was a part of the fifth-fasted 400 freestyle relay team in school history (2:51.60)
- Tallied one NCAA B Cut time and set one personal record

NCAA MEET RECAP
- Earned honorable mention All-America honors at first NCAA meet, swimming the anchor leg of the 14th-place 800 free relay team (6:17.11)
SEC MEET RECAP
- Scored for the Vols in the 200 freestyle, placing 12th in 1:35.88; he swam a 1:35.06 in the preliminary rounds
- Also finished 46th in the 100 free (45.04) and 47th in the 500 free (4:33.99)
- In relays, part of the fourth-place 800 free relay team (6:18.53)
DUAL MEET RECAP
- Competed in eight regular-season meets during his first year as a Vol
- Focused on the 100 and 200 freestyle events, posting a time of 1:37.03 at the Tennessee Invitational to conclude the fall season
