Smart and talented center who played two full seasons for the Volunteers after transferring from Alabama … Spent three years with the Tide before coming to Knoxville where he was a leader … Transferred from Alabama following the 2017 season … Played in 32 career games – 22 with Tennessee and 10 at Alabama … Started 22 career games with the Vols at center … Was awarded an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA following the 2019 season … A finalist for the “Academic Heisman” in his final year after earning his undergraduate degree at Alabama (2017) and a pair of master’s degrees from Tennessee (2019, ’20) … Three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Started eight games at center and was a team captain … Named a NFF National Scholar-Athlete and a finalist for the Campbell Trophy, becoming Tennessee’s first since 2004 (Michael Munoz) … Played 507 offensive snaps on the year and allowed only one sack … Did not play against Florida or Vanderbilt … Helped the Vols rush for 222 yards at #23 Auburn (11/23) and for 232 yards in win over Missouri (10/3), seeing a season-high 77 offensive snaps.

Started every game at center and was consistently one of the Vols' highest-graded offensive lineman ... Played 815 offensive snaps on the year … Had knee surgery following the regular season finale, but came back in time to start against Indiana in the 2020 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl to help lead UT to a 23-22 comeback victory (1/2) ... Only Tennessee offensive lineman to start every game ... Standout in the classroom, as well, where he collected CoSIDA Academic All-District honors ... Paved the way for a season-high 297-yard rushing performance against Vanderbilt (11/30) ... Made way for one of the best passing performances in recent history as Jarrett Guarantano recorded 415 passing yards against the sixth-best passing defense in the nation at Missouri (11/23) ... Team leader who helped Tennessee win its final six games and seven of its last eight ... Helped pave the way for 242 yards rushing against BYU (9/7).

Suffered season-ending injury in practice after starting season opener at center against West Virginia (9/1).
