Bowen Sargent begins his second season as assistant golf coach on Jim Kelson[apos]s Tennessee staff.

Kelson said at the time of his appointment. [quote]Bowen is a very accompished player
who possesses a great deal of knowledge about the game. Perhaps most importantly,
he understands the commitments to excel at the highest levels.[quote]
Sargent came to Tennessee from North Carolina State, where he was an accomplished
golfer for the Wolfpack from 1984-87. During his collegiate career, Sargent
was a two-time All America selection, as well as a two-time All-Atlantic Coast
Conference performer. Sargent was also the 1996 Tennessee State Juniors Champion.

Sargent replaces Randy Wylie, who became an instructor at Fairways and Greens
practice facility in Knoxville.
