1992-93 - SENIOR
- Graduated from UT in 1993 with a degree in African-American studies.
- Finished his career as Tennessee's all-time leading scorer, with 2,801 points (that remains the school record).
- Among all-time SEC players, only LSU's Pete Maravich (3,667) has scored more career points than Houston.
- At the conclusion of his Tennessee career, he also ranked 13th on the NCAA's Division I career scoring list and was the SEC's all-time leader in career 3-pointers made (346), which then ranked sixth in Divison I history.
- Left Tennessee as the program's all-time leader in field goals made, field goal attempts, free throws made, 3-pointers made, 3-point attempts and 3-point percentage.
- Remains the only Vol ever to record at least 2,000 points, 400 rebounds and 400 assists in his career.
- Never missed a game in his career, starting all 128 games during his four-year career and averaging 36.0 minutes played.
- Scored in double figures in 120 of 128 career games, including at least 20 points in 84 games and 30 or more in 24 contests.
- Captured the 1992-93 SEC scoring title by averaging 22.3 points per game (669 points in 30 games).
- Joined Ernie Grunfeld as Tennessee's only four-time, first-team All-SEC honorees.
- Started all 30 games and shot a career-best .878 from the free-throw line (165-188).
1991-92 - JUNIOR
- Was only the fourth player in SEC history to reach the 2,000-point mark before the end of his third season.
- One of only eight college players chosen for the USA Basketball Development Team, which trained against the 1992 U.S. Olympic "Dream Team."
- Started all 34 games and averaged 21.1 points and a career-high 5.3 rebounds per game.
- Shot .418 from beyond the 3-point arc (82-196).
- Pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds against South Carolina (2/29/1992).
1990-91 - SOPHOMORE
- Set UT's single-season scoring record with 806 points.
- Started all 34 games for the Vols and averaged a career-best 23.7 points per game.
- Also set career-highs for assists (131) and steals (37) in a season.
- Shot .482 from the field (265-550) and .429 from 3-point range (99-231).
- In the summer of 1990, he played on USA Basketball's U18 Team, which went 7-0 and won gold at FIBA's inaugural junior World Championship qualifying tournament in Montevideo, Uruguay.
1989-90 - FRESHMAN
- Exploded for a career-high 43 points and a career-high 11 assists during a 119-113 loss to an LSU team featuring Shaquille O'Neal (2/10/1990).
- Drained eight 3-pointers--which proved to be his career-high--in Tennessee's win over Fordham (12/29/1989).
- Earned a starting assignment in all 30 games during his debut season and averaged 120.3 points 2.9 rebounds and a career-best 4.2 assists per game.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Graduated from Ballard High School in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1989.
- Was named a McDonald's All-American as a senior in 1988-89 and also earned Kentucky's "Mr. Basketball" title.
- Helped lead the Bruins to a state championship as a junior in 1987-88; Houston's Ballard team overcame a 51-point effort from Clay County's Richie Farmer in the title game at a sold-out Freedom Hall.
