Games/Starts: 13/0 • Played in every game • Special teams tackle runner-up for second straight season, tying three other players with nine stops • Career-high fi ve tackles in season opener against UT Martin • Also led UT eff ort in that game with two pass breakups • Posted pair of tackles versus UAB, including key stop for no gain on third-and-6 that led to missed fi eld goal in eventual double-overtime victory • Contributed four tackles on special teams at Memphis • Entered fall campaign having just completed undergraduate degree in marketing • Father[apos]s side of family has owned Tennessee football season tickets since 1930s, part of reason Tyler chose Vols over several scholarship off ers elsewhere.
