Kate Miller enters her third season at Tennessee as the executive assistant to head coach Josh Heupel.
Miller coordinates Heupel’s daily schedule and is involved in all facets of the program.
Miller, a native of McMinnville, Oregon, came to Knoxville in the spring of 2021 after serving as the coordinator of football operations on Heupel’s UCF staff from August 2018-January 2021. She was part of a UCF staff that went to three consecutive bowl games, posted a 28-8 overall record and won The American Athletic Conference in 2018.
Prior to UCF, she was the assistant director of football operations and senior staff assistant at Indiana from October 2016-August 2018. Prior to her time at Indiana, Miller served four years at Cal as an accounting specialist. She also interned at Cal in travel and Olympic sport operations.
Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Idaho, where she was a student-athlete on the swimming and diving team. She also holds a master’s degree in sport management from the University of San Francisco.
