With over seven years of recruiting operations experience, Jessica Stinger enters her second season as Tennessee’s assistant director of recruiting in 2021.
Stinger is involved in all facets of the Volunteers’ recruiting operation, and she was instrumental in helping UT sign a top-15 recruiting class in her first year.
Stinger, a native of Mooresville, Indiana, came to Rocky Top after serving as the director of recruiting at Colorado State, a role she led from February 2020 to January 2021. Prior to CSU, she spent one season as Nebraska’s director of on-campus recruiting. While in Lincoln, she directed all logistics when the Husker program hosted prospects on official and unofficial visits, in addition to assisting in NU's overall recruiting efforts.
Prior to Nebraska, Stinger was a recruiting operations graduate assistant at Middle Tennessee where she assisted in a variety of recruiting duties, including prospect visits, creation of marketing and social media content. She was also involved with Blue Raider football camps. Stinger directed the Raider Ambassador program while earning her master's degree in communications in May 2019.
Stinger earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana in 2017. With the Hoosiers, Stinger worked as a football recruiting assistant for three seasons. She also served as an Indiana Athletics sales ambassador and spent one season as a community relations intern with the Indianapolis Colts.
