Tennessee graduate and Bristol native Angelia Brummett returned to Rocky Top as the Volunteers’ director of recruiting in 2021.

Brummett oversees all on-campus recruiting, including the staff. She handles official and unofficial visits and coordinates all recruiting logistics. She works alongside the creative content team and coaching staff on all recruiting operations.

Brummett has played an instrumental role in helping the Volunteers return to national prominence, including back-to-back top-15 recruiting classes in Josh Heupel's first two seasons.

Brummett worked alongside Heupel at UCF for two seasons as the Knights’ director of on-campus recruiting from 2019-20. She coordinated all recruiting operations and was part of two bowl game appearances.

She arrived at UCF following a year as an IT recruiter for Insight Global in Nashville.

During her undergraduate tenure at Tennessee from 2013-18, Brummett spent time working with the Volunteers’ football recruiting operations department as a team recruit ambassador and a student assistant for recruiting. She was involved with recruiting events, organization of official and unofficial visits, social media marketing and facility tours.

Brummett earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee in 2018.
