- Had two hits, including a two-run homer, in Central Arizona's improbable comeback win in the national championship game against Iowa Western. The Vaqueros erased an early 7-0 deficit to defeat the Reivers, 13-8
- Named to the NJCAA College World Series All-Star team after racking up nine hits, nine runs and five RBI over the Vaqueros’ six-game run to the title
- Ranked third on the team with a .326 batting average as a sophomore and also finished fourth on the team with six homers despite playing in just 38 games. He also scored 38 runs and had 28 RBI in 2019
- Played in 56 games for the Vaqueros as a freshman, amassing a .391 batting average, 33 RBIs, 68 runs scored and 17 stolen bases
- For his career at Central Arizona, Spence was a .363 hitter and amassed 111 hits, 106 runs, 26 doubles, nine home runs, 61 RBI and 26 stolen bases
