SEC Swimmer of the Week (1/24/23)
2022-23 - SENIOR
- Top times from season: 200 free (1:55.84), 500 free (4:36.35) and 1000 free (9:49.34), 1650 free (15:50.24).
- Finished fourth in the nation in the 1650 free during the 2023 NCAA Championship meet, touching the wall with a season-best time of 15:50.24.
- Placed second in the 500 free at the 2023 SEC Championships with a swift 4:36.35 earning a silver medal as well as the second top time in Tennessee history.
- Brought home a bronze medal in the 1650 free with a mark of 15:53.47 at the 2023 SEC Championships.
- National leader in the 1650 free with a time of 15:57.01 and ranks second in the country for the 1000 free (9:37.62).
- Won seven individual events this season (4x 1000 free, 2x 500 free, 1x 1650 free).
- During the meet against Carson Newman, notched first place in the 500 free (4:45.66) and the 1650 free (15:57.01).
- Won the 1000 free against Louisville (10/20/22) with a time of 9:53.58.
- Posted a first place finish in the 1000 free with a winning time of 9:49.34 against NC State (10/14-15/22).

2021-22 - JUNIOR
- Top times from season: 50 free (26.67), 100 free (54.98), 200 free (1:49.38), 500 free (4:40.62), 1000 free (9:37.42), 1650 free (15:57.63), 200 back (2:22.58).
- Finished eighth in the 1650 free with a mark of 15:59.49 earning All-America recognition at the NCAA tournament.
- Recorded a time of 4:41.34 in the 500 free finishing 18th at NCAA.
- Member of the Lady Vols' SEC Championship team.
- Qualified for the A finals in the 500 free and the 1650 free at the SEC tournament.
- Medaled in two events by winning gold in the 1650 free and bronze in the 500 free at the SEC tournament.
- At the SEC tournament she posted the top time in program history in the 1650 free (15:42.37), with her 1000 split (9:27.69) also ranking first in the Lady Vol record books.
- Swept first in 1000 free with a mark of 9:48.96 against Carson-Newman (1/29/22).
- Took first in the 1000 free with a time of 9:42.33 at Georgia (1/22/22).
- Placed first in the 1000 free against Duke and Queens (1/8/22), hitting the wall in 9:58.81.
- Finished second in the 500 free at NC State (10/15/21), posting a time of 4:53.02.
- Placed first in the 1000 free (9:50.43) and second in the 500 free against Louisville (10/21/21).
2020-21 - SOPHOMORE
- Top times from season: 200 free (1:50.30), 500 free (4:44.04), 1000 free (9:40.84) and 1650 free (16:08.26).
- Competed in the 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle, helping the Lady Vols to a 10th-place finish at the NCAA tournament.
- Finished fourth nationally in the 1650 free, touching the wall in 15:52.07.
- Placed ninth at the NCAA's in the 500 free with a time of 4:39.89.
- Competed in the 200 free, 500 free and 1650 free at the SEC tournament.
- Won the gold medal in the 1650 free with a time of 15:47.72, breaking the UT school record and marking an NCAA A Cut time.
- Brought home the silver medal at the SEC's in the 500 free, touching the wall in an NCAA B Cut time of 4:38.38. The mark ranked second in Lady Vol history.
- Won the 500 free and 1000 free events during two meets.
- Swept the 500 and 1000 freestyles during the meet against Kentucky (1/14/21).
2019-20 - FRESHMAN (ECU)
- Owns the ECU school record in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle events.
- Earned CSCAA All-America honors in the 1650 freestyle.
- Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 500 and 1650 freestyle.
- Won gold in the1650 Freestyle during the 2020 American Athletic Conference Championships, setting the school and conference championship meet record.
- Captured the bronze medal in the 500 freestyle at the conference championship meet.
- Recorded eight medal finishes during the dual meet campaign.

- Matt Kredich: We are really fortunate to have Kristen joining us next year, as she'll add some juice to our training environment and our distance depth. She had an incredible freshman year at ECU, and while she has become an elite distance swimmer in a short period of time, she's got some intriguing speed as well. We're really excited about her future.
