Ariella Jeffery Selected to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Tennessee sophomore rower Ariella Jeffery was named to the 2026 SEC Community Service Team, the conference announced on Friday.

The annual honor recognizes a student-athlete from each SEC institution for their outstanding community service contributions to their local community.

Jeffery has been involved with multiple organizations within the Knoxville area. She has dedicated much of her service time to Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. As a volunteer in the Adopt-a-Unit program, she assists the hospital's surgical unit and helps support day-to-day operations within the hospital. In total over her two years on campus, Jeffery has committed over 80 total hours towards community service hours to Covenant Health and the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center as a part of the Adopt-a-Unit program.

The Highlands Ranch, California native has also been a volunteer with VOLthon, which is the largest student-led organization on the UT campus. This year, the VOLthon had its highest total for money raised for the Dolly Parton Children's Hospital in its 30-year history, raising a total of $315,044.70 for the Children's Hospital.

Jeffery holds a 3.96 GPA as she majors in Biological Sciences, with minors in Mathematics and Leadership Studies. She was named to the 2024-25 SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll following her freshman season on Rocky Top. Jeffery helped lead the 2V8 crew to a gold medal at last season's SEC Championships.
