BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference announced Tuesday that two Lady Vols earned weekly honors after standout performances at the 2026 Tennessee Invite. Cedricka Williams was named SEC Women's Field Athlete of the Week, and Hannah Grace secured SEC Women's Freshman of the Week accolades.
Williams made history at home, capturing the women's discus title with a season-best throw of 60.57 meters (198-9). Her mark broke a 49-year-old Tennessee program record by one centimeter and currently ranks second in both the SEC and the NCAA this outdoor season.
