Tennessee Volleyball Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --Â After reaching the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season and earning a top four finish in the SEC, Tennessee volleyball has announced the team's upcoming Spring schedule.

The Lady Vols begin the spring slate on Friday, March 27 against in-state rival Vanderbilt. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET, and will be played at Knoxville Catholic High School.

The Big Orange return to action for a weekend tournament in the first week of April. They will make the trip south to Atlanta, to compete in a spring tournament hosted by Georgia Tech on April 4. This is followed by another road contest for the Lady Vols, as they travel north for match at Louisville on April 10. Tennessee closes out the spring season in Knoxville, hosting a tournament on April 18. The tournament will take place at the K2 Volleyball Facility. Opponents for both spring tournaments will be released at a later date.

Tennessee is coming off another successful season under head coach Eve Rackham Watt in 2025. In addition to reaching the NCAA tournament for the fifth-straight season, UT also reach the semifinals in the return of the SEC Tournament. Key contributors from last season's campaign include Caroline Kerr, Mackenzie Plante, and Chelsea Sutton.

Kerr finished the 2025 campaign strong, earning AVCA All-American honors for the third-straight season. She joined Nikki Fowler as the only Tennessee volleyball players to receive All-American honors in three seasons. Kerr had 945 assists in her redshirt junior season and had 9.84 assists per set, both of which ranked in the top ten in the SEC. Kerr ranks top ten in program history in both assists (3,259) and assists per set (10.65) and is only the seventh player in program history. Plante had a career year in her junior season, setting career-high in all major categories. Plante was fourth on the team with 182 kills, while adding 175 digs. Plante logged five matches with double figure kills, including a career-high 14 against Alabama. Chelsea Sutton led the team in blocks this past season with 116 and finished with the second-most kills with 215. Sutton also led the team with a .362 hitting percentage in 2025, ranking in the top five in the conference.

Four transfers join the Lady Vols this summer ahead of the 2026 season. Jalyn Stout joins the team after three seasons at Coastal Carolina where she finished with 1,112 kills, 1,545 assists, and 1,041 digs. Stout holds the NCAA for the most triple doubles in a career with 46. Kennedi Rogers was a ACC All-Freshman Team selection at SMU last season, where she logged 175 kills and a .272 hitting percentage. Nia Hall brings SEC experience as a transfer from South Carolina, where she led the gamecocks in both kills (273) and kills per set (3.07). Marta Lazzarin comes to Tennessee from Georgia State, where the sophomore earned Sun Belt Libero of the Year honors in her first collegiate season after tallying 535 digs and 5.25 digs per set.

Five freshmen join the squad for the spring season with middle blocker Jolene Oddo, middle blocker Camille Perry, middle blocker Anni Tang, opposite hitter Jade Williams, and outside hitter Morgan Williams. The quintet of new Lady Vols will earn valuable experience this upcoming spring and will compete for spots on the court during the spring season.
