Doubles Pairs Shine at ITA Women’s All-American Championships

CARY, N.C. – The ITA Women's All-American Championships concluded on Sunday, with multiple Lady Vols collecting their first collegiate victories of the fall during the nine days of competition.

Tennessee's entries in the doubles main draw excelled, with both the Catherine Aulia/Leyla Britez Risso and Vanesa Suarez/Saray Yli-Piipari duets advancing to the quarterfinals. Both tandems won hard-fought, three-set battles in the Round of 16.

On the singles front, Britez Risso reached the Round of 16 in the main draw. Sophomore Elim Yan started the tournament with a strong 4-0 start, advancing to the second round of the qualifying draw. Vanesa Suarez collected three wins in the prequalifying and qualifying draws.
