Mattern to Participate in U.S. U-19 Women’s National Team Domestic Training Camp

ATLANTA, Ga. - Tennessee soccer forward Reese Mattern was called up to the U.S. U-19 Women's National Team domestic training camp, U.S. Soccer communications announced Tuesday.
In March, the U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team announced the call-up of Tennessee's star forward for a training camp. Mattern will join 20 other collegiate standouts and three professionals from across the country in Fayetteville, Georgia, at the future home of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center for a domestic training camp slated to begin June 24 and run through July 1.
U-19 WNT head coach Carrie Kveton and U-16 GNT head coach Ciara Crinion will be co-head coaches for the camp.
As a freshman the Charlottesville, Virginia native, started all 20 games, finishing second on the team with 32 shots and tying for the team lead with 16 shots on goal.
Mattern's impressive rookie season was rewarded with a 2024 SEC All-Freshman Team selection and a Freshman of the Week honor during the second week of the 2024 season.
