VFL Hunter Wolcott Earns First Career PGA TOUR Americas Win at Diners Club Peru Open

LIMA, Peru – Former Tennessee men's golfer Hunter Wolcott secured his first career PGA TOUR Americas victory Sunday at the Diners Club Peru Open.

The Dickson, Tennessee, native shot a 19-under 72-hole total to win the event by two strokes. Wolcott shot under-par in each round, including a first-round 8-under 64. He also played the final nine holes of the tournament at 5-under.

Throughout the week, Wolcott made 24 birdies and an eagle.

With the win, Wolcott now has four career top-10 PGA TOUR Americas finishes.

During his time at Tennessee, Wolcott secured 22 top-25 finishes, including nine inside the top 10 and an individual title at the 2019 The Hayt Invitational.

Additionally, the VFL was a two-time All-SEC selection and 2021 PING All-Southeast Region honoree.
