Men's Golf Central: The Invitational at The Ford

Savannah, Ga. - The Tennessee men's golf team is set for its last regular season tournament and will head to the east coast for The Invitational at The Ford, hosted by Georgia Southern.
The Vols will kick off the two-day, three-round tournament on Monday, April 14th. The first day will feature 36 holes of continuous play. The final round will wrap up on Tuesday, April 15th.Â
This will be the Vols'Â fifth and final spring tournament before the SEC Championships.Â
Freshman Jackson Herrington led Tennessee last time out with a 5-under-par performance, tying for 16th place.Â
The 2025 Invitational at the Ford will mark Tennessee's first appearance in the tournament, which is in its second year of existence.
The 250-acre golf course was designed by the legendary World Golf Hall of Fame architect Pete Dye. The course, which will be played as a par-70 at 7,259 yards, features a parkland-style front nine and a links-style back nine.Â

Lance Simpson Â
Simpson enters the contest with a 70.38 stroke average in 2024-2025, having finished in the top 25 in six of the eight tournaments he has played in. Â
Evan Woosley-Reed Â
Woosley-Reed enters the Invitational at the Ford with a 71.67 stroke average this spring.Â
Jackson Herrington Â
Herrington is coming off back-to-back top 20 finishes with his last six rounds being par or better.Â
Josh Hill Â
Hill will have been featured in all five lineups this spring after achieving personal bests for the lowest round in a single tournament and five top-25 finishes. Â
Christian PardueÂ
Pardue most recently competed in the Memphis Intercollegiate as an individual where he placed second after shooting even-par for the tournament.
