KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee track & field gears up for its second week of outdoor competition this week, sending a Big Orange caravan of distance runners to NC State for the Raleigh Relays. The Vols and Lady Vols will compete Thursday and Friday, March 27-28, at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
UT will open the meet Thursday with four athletes competing in the men's 1,500-meter, starting at approximately 5 p.m. The men's distance races will run into the late hours of Thursday evening, concluding with Yonas Haile making his Tennessee track debut in the men's 10,000-meter at approximately 9:25 p.m.
Tennessee's stay in Raleigh will wrap up on Friday, starting with three Vols in the men's 400-meter dash at 2:50 p.m. Women's distance races will be contested throughout Friday evening, ending with four Lady Vols toeing the line for the women's 10k at approximately 10:35 p.m.
The 2025 Raleigh Relays meet schedule and heat sheets are available at GoPack.com. Portions of the running events will be streamed online both days via ACC Network Extra, and live results will be provided throughout the meet by Flash Results, Inc.
UP NEXT: The Vols and Lady Vols will play host to the Tennessee Invite next week, with its first home meet of 2025 scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 4-5. Additionally, a group of sprinters are set to travel to the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida, to compete on Saturday, April 5.
