December 17, 2025 | Volleyball
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- For the third time in her collegiate career, redshirt junior setter Caroline Kerr has earned AVCA All-American honors as announced on Wednesday. Kerr garnered Honorable Mention All-American honors for the second consecutive year, and was named a Second Team All-American in 2023.
Kerr becomes just the second Lady Vol to earn All-America honors three times in their career, joining Nikki Fowler who did so from 2008-10. Fowler was an Honorable Mention honoree in 2008 and 2009, before being tabbed a Third Team All-American in 2010.
Kerr led Tennessee in assists once again in 2025, finishing the season with 945. One of the top setters in the SEC once again, Ker ranked top ten during the season in both assists and assists per set (9.84). Kerr was a crucial part of the Tennessee attack, helping lead an offense that finished top 15 nationally in both hitting percentage (.292, 11th) and kills per set (14.17, 11th). This marks the second time in the last three seasons that Tennessee has finished in the top 15 in the country in both categories.
Kerr notched 30 or more assists in 20 matches this campaign, including tying her career high of 57 against Florida on Oct. 15. Kerr eclipsed the 3,000 career assist threshold this season, and currently ranks sixth all-time in program history at 3,259 assists. Kerr also ranks top ten all-time in assists per set, checking in at sixth at 10.65. Kerr is one of only seven Lady Vol setters to have 3,000 assists in their career. Kerr also was a big part of the Tennessee floor defense, finishing the season second on the team in digs with 217. Kerr had 11 double doubles in 2025 to bring her career total to 24, which sits 10th in program history.
