Four Lady Vols Earn All-SEC Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Following their production on the pitch during the regular season, four Lady Vols earned All-SEC honors, the league office announced Sunday.
Senior Ally Brown was named SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year and First Team All-SEC. UT's Second Team All-SEC selections included senior Mac Midgley and sophomore Cayden Norris while redshirt senior Jenna Stayart was slated as a Third Team honoree.Â
Ally Brown | D | Senior | SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year & First Team All-SECÂ
Senior defender Ally Brown is building on a standout junior season that earned her All-SEC third team honors, when she led Tennessee with 1,800 minutes played and started all 20 matches. Brown ranks No. 14 on TopDrawerSoccer.com's Midseason Top 100 list, making her the fifth-highest-rated defender. Through the first 14 games of 2025, she already surpassed her goal and assist totals from last season, tallying two goals and four assists. Brown remains a key piece of a Tennessee defense that went through non-conference play without allowing a goal. The Lady Vols currently are tied for the lead in the nation with 13 shutouts, which also ties the program's single-season shutout record that was previously set in 2021.  In addition to her on-field endeavors, Brown earned SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year thanks to her consistent commitments in the class rooom. The College Grove, Tennessee, native holds a 3.99 cumulative GPA and is set to graduate with a degree finance in December. Brown is also pursuing a minor in leadership studies and collateral in sales. Brown was a part of the 2025 VolLeaders Academy, which cultivates positive influence and change through sport. Additionally, the College Grove, Tennessee, native is in the UTK Women In Finance club through UT's Haslam College of Business while also taking part in the Senate Athletics Committee.Â
Mac Midgley | M | Second Team All-SEC
Midgley picks up her second career All-SEC selection after co-leading the squad with four assists this season along with a goal to bring her points total to six on the year. Midgley also sits second in shots (24) and third in shots on goal (10) in 2025. The Wolverine Lake, Michigan, native has appeared in 16 contests while starting in 13.Â
Cayden Norris | G | Second Team All-SEC
Norris has been clutch in goal for the Big Orange and has an SEC-leading 11 clean sheets to her name and has also made 41 saves in goal.  The earned a spot on the Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List, which honors the nation's top player as voted on by Division I coaches. She also ranks No. 34 on TopDrawerSoccer.com's Midseason Top 100 list. Norris was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week to open the season and holds a .455 goals-against average.Â
Jenna Stayart | F | Third Team All-SEC
Stayart holds a prominent presence for UT has she has found the back of the net five times, including a pair of game-winners versus Georgia Southern and Georgia. Stayart has also dished out a trio of assists and leads Tennessee with 13 points and 25 shots and 13 shots on goal.Â
