KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee announced Thursday afternoon that its SEC matchups with Kentucky and Alabama at Food City Center are sellouts.
The Volunteers meet the Wildcats in a Jan. 17 noon affair, while they square off with the Crimson Tide in a Feb. 28 evening—the tip time will be 6 or 6:30 p.m.—contest.
Tennessee previously sold out its season-opening exhibition Oct. 26 versus Duke. Another game, the Jan. 31 contest against Auburn slated for 8:30 p.m., has limited ticket inventory available. Fans can purchase seats to see the clash with the Tigers HERE.

Tennessee, which plays in the third-largest on-campus arena in the country, is already sold out of season tickets for 2025-26. For the seventh full-capacity season in a row, the Volunteers sold over 13,000 season tickets, including eclipsing 14,000 for the fourth straight. In each of those seven years, Tennessee has finished top-eight nationally in average attendance, including placing third in 2024-25 at 20,026.
The Volunteers sold out eight games each of the last two years, setting and then tying a program single-season record. In 2024-25, Food City Center hosted eight of the top 18 regular season single-game crowds in the country, including two of the top four. The prior year, in 2023-24, it had four of the top six single-game marks.
Over the past four regular seasons, Tennessee has posted 24 sellouts—three in 2021-22, five in 2022-23, eight in 2023-24 and eight in 2024-25—and produced a stellar 20-4 record in those outings. That includes a 15-2 tally in the last 17 such games, dating to Feb. 15, 2023. In total, Tennessee is 27-7 in home sellouts under head coach Rick Barnes.
