Vols in the NFL – Week 6

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee standouts continued to make their presence felt across the NFL in Week 6, highlighted by a dominant defensive effort from Byron Young.
Young turned in one of the league's top defensive outings of the week for the Rams, wreaking havoc in a 17-3 win over Baltimore. The third-year pro recorded two sacks, eight tackles and five quarterback hits, pushing his season total to 7.5 sacks – the second-most in the NFL – while ranking third with 15 QB hits.
On the offensive side, Cade Mays anchored the Carolina Panthers' offensive line, starting at center for the fourth consecutive game. He played all 67 snaps in a hard-fought 30-27 win over Dallas. Mays earned a grade of 83.6 from Pro Football Focus for his play on Sunday.
