Trio Of Lady Vol Signees Named McDonald’s All-Americans
January 27, 2025 | Women's Basketball
Three Tennessee women's basketball signees have been selected to play in the McDonald's All-American Game, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. ET on April 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Future Lady Vols chosen include 6-2 guard Deniya Prawl of Toronto, Canada, 6-0 guard Jaida Civil of Vero Beach, Fla., and 5-6 guard Mia Pauldo of Paterson, N.J. They will play on the East team and bring the total of women's McDonald's All-Americans who signed with Tennessee or joined the team as a transfer to 43.
The trio gives UT its most competitors in the contest since the Big Orange had three chosen in 2018. It also marks only the sixth time in program history Tennessee has had three or more participants in the event.
Pauldo is rated No. 11 in the 2025 espnW 100 player rankings, while Prawl is the No. 14 ranked player by that organization and Civil checks in at No. 32. They are part of a five-member signing class that also includes Mia's twin sister Mya, a 5-6 guard who is rated No. 56, and 6-3 guard Lauren Hurst of Cleveland, Tenn., who is rated No. 42.
