Vols in the NFL – Week 2

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Week 2 in the NFL saw several Vols make notable contributions to their teams' success and one Heupel-era Vol make his NFL debut.
Down in Dallas, Alvin Kamara and the Saints ran roughshod over the Cowboys in a 44-19 victory. The former Vol continued his hot start to the season, rushing for 115 yards on 20 carries with three rushing touchdowns.
The do-everything back also pulled in a pair of catches for 65 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown reception. The 57-yard score marked a new career-long for Kamara who now has 12 games with both a rushing and receiving touchdown, surpassing NFL Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown for third all-time in league history.
Saints' teammate Alontae Taylor also had a productive day on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles with a pair of tackles for loss.
In Miami, running back Jaylen Wright made his NFL debut with the Dolphins. The rookie running back had five carries for four yards against the Buffalo Bills.
