SUNSET, S.C. -- Tennessee women's golf concludes its regular season schedule with the Clemson Invitational from Friday, March 22, to Sunday, March 24.
Hosted by Clemson University at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, the tournament will feature one 18-hole round each day. At last year's Clemson Invitational, the Lady Vols finished 6th of 16 teams, highlighted by a top-15 finish from then-freshman Manassanan Chotikabhukkana.
Heading into the final tournament, the Lady Vols are looking to have three golfers post 15 rounds of par or better in one season for the first time in program history. Manassanan Chotikabhukkana, Vanessa Gilly and Kayla Holden are tied for 14 this season.
LADY VOLS LINEUP
For the third consecutive tournament, Holden placed in the top-10 after turning in a score of 212 (-4) to tie for eighth at the MountainView Collegiate. She has earned a career-high four top-10 finishes this season, and five top-25 placements.
Davis tallied one round under par during the MountainView Collegiate and finished with a score of 226 (+10). The White Plains, Maryland, native boasts two finishes in the top 10 and three in the top 25 during her junior campaign.
Arora earned the third-best score in the Lady Vol lineup during the MountainView Collegiate, shooting a 221 (+4) to finish tied for 40th. The sophomore's best finish this season was a top-20 placement during the Sun Coast Invitational.
During the MountainView Collegiate, Chotikabhukkana tied for 15th with a mark of 214 (+2). So far in her sophomore season, she has earned three top-10 finishes and six in the top-25 along with earning SEC Golfer of the Week honors following her performance at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate.
Gilly recorded her 34th career round of par or better at the MountainView Collegiate, moving her into sole possession of seventh all-time at Tennessee. The Caracas, Venezuela, native is currently enjoying the best season of her career, with three finishes in the top 10 and five in the top-25.
After another stellar performance as an individual, Lopez-Lanchares earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second consecutive tournament. At the MountainView Collegiate, she finished tied for 11th after shooting a score of 213 (-3), with all of her rounds coming in at par or better.
